I have been a full-time resident in Havasu since 2022, although I am not new to the community. We have had a home here since 2000 and have enjoyed the city on vacations throughout the years. My husband Sam and I have been married since 1977 and we have 3 amazing daughters and wonderful sons-in-law. My joy is my 4 granddaughters and 1 grandson from 18 years old to 9 months old, so I make frequent visits to California.
I have many years working in a volunteer capacity for numerous organizations Girl Scouts, PTA, Soccer Teams, Soft Ball teams, bone marrow drive, and several San Bernardino County Sheriff Department events. I truly enjoy my volunteer positions at Lake Havasu City Senior Center and I hope to continue.
The Beginning: The need to get involved and improve community awareness about the Senior Center
Memories: Working with the board at the numerous events, Ice Cream socials, Winterfest, Winter Faire Holiday parties etc. A great group of individuals !

I also have served on numerous boards here in Lake Havasu and have enjoyed being involved in all of them. One thing we have in common, is the great and wonderful volunteers that give their time, donations and support to all our organizations and give back to the community, Awesome. My goal as a board member of the Senior Center is for our community to know where we are located and what we do for our seniors especially for our Meals On Wheels program.
