A Sweet Thank You to Jennie Hundra!
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Jennie Hundra for her incredible talent and generosity in creating such delicious and beautifully crafted desserts for the Lake Havasu Senior Center. These handcrafted desserts were made just for our Annual Tea Party that happens in May. Over 50 of our community members joined us for this special celebration.
Every bite was a true delight, and the presentation was just as stunning as the flavors! Jennie’s desserts brought smiles to everyone’s faces and added a special touch to our event. Her dedication and passion for baking remind us how small gestures can make big moments unforgettable.

Hi All,
My name is “sad ole young senior”. I worked for many years and then retired as most of us here have done. I sat around the house doing crafts, going shopping, etc. Finally, I realized, I needed more to keep me happy and occupied.
I came to the Lake Havasu Senior Center not knowing one person, filled out an application and ‘bingo’, here I am , That was September 11, 2023. From day 1, I was made to feel welcome and needed and the next day I ended up hugging everyone. It took me a while to remember all the names, but after a few months, I felt like that person’s long lost sister.
I’m privileged to work in our Thrift Store Hidden Treasures and I love it more each day. I have learned what person likes what color and I have a few people I help dress!
If you are bored and want more to do during the day, I implore you to come and visit us at the Center, you will not be disappointed.
